- Blanket delivery to our unhoused neighbors upon completion
Hello dear friends! Our summer 2026 MAL will begin July 1 and run through the end of August. We’re so excited to partner with you to keep some of our most vulnerable neighbors warm this season. Mark Twain famously said the coldest winter he’d ever spent was a summer in San Francisco, and he wasn’t wrong! It gets chilly here at night year round, and folks are always so grateful for a blanket.
Make-alongs are a great time to get together with your knitting group, crafting circle, or maker friends and family and whip up a bunch of squares together!
We are also offering a free handmade stitch marker to everyone who brings or sends in squares during the make-along as a thank you! Drop us a line in a comment, in our Facebook group, or over on Discord if you need local meetup info, or check out our FAQ or Knit With Us page for details about where to send your squares if you’re joining us from afar.
